So finally,
I met up with my lovelies for short get away 3-days-2-nights Genting trip!!! ^-^
we were supposedly to meet at 6.15am @ compass point on the first day (6 may 2012), where the "five stars travel" coach pick up point is...
but,
only Les was on time!!!
I reached at 6.25am,
and Man reached at 6.30 AM, which was the time the bus was supposed to drive off!!!
imagine any of us reach later than 6.30am,

we tried to camwhore on the bus(as usual),
but apparently,
it FAILED big time!!!

and before we knew it,
we were reaching the singapore custom!!!

along the way up to genting,
there are 2 stopovers- one for lunch eating and one toilet break.
and after 5-6 hours rides,
we reached GENTING!!!
of cos the first thing we did, was to go up to our hotel (First world hotel) to put our stuffs down and head out again.

and our first stop is STARBUCK (our favorite)!!!
and we made our first joke there:
so les went to order a drink,
then the person said/asked her sth, which she didnt heard clearly so she said: "sorry?"
and guess what?
the person wrote "ms SERENE" on the cup!!!
LOL

then after that we walk aound in First World Hotel,
shop around all the shops such as NIKE, Carlo Rino etc. and went to the arcade area to play =))

and it was sooon dinner time!!!

I'm sorry as I forget what's the name of the restaurant called,
but it was a really nice chinese eatery place!!!
as the three of us are not big eater,
we decided to order two set meals and a soup to share.
each set meal include 1 main dish(you can choose what you want from the menu), 1 appetiser, 1 bowl of assorted fruits and a bowl of rice, @ the price of bout RM 25 per set (if i'm not wrong)
and the chef gave us a complimentary bowl of fruits (which in return, they asked for our numbers, but of cos we didnt give...so bad right?I know...LOL)

after dinner,
we went to purchase our ticket to the the "FREEZE" performance.
before the start of the show,
we went out of the hotel to explore around.

So other than First world hotel, there are quite a few other hotels around.
Hotel Highland and Resort World Genting are one of the few.

we never miss the chance to go in to Resort World Genting lobby to camwhore!!!

we head back to watch our "FREEZE" show!!!

"FREEZE" is a performance comprises of skating performace, acrbats, music and magic.
To be honest,
I personally don't find it that interesting,
and Selestine and I even fell asleep a few times during the show (missing out the magic part).
maybe either because it is not that appealing to us,
or maybe because,
we were super duper tired as we didnt sleep for the whole of the previous night to do our last minute packing?
but Amanda seemed to enjoyed it,
so i guess, it's more on personal preference =))

After the performance,
we were all beat and decided to call it for the day.

but guesss what we did when we are back at the hotel?

I took photo of the night view from our rooom's window, while they changed out;

we prepared food for midnight snacking;

and they asked me to teach them how to wear fake lashes (which they bought at sigma during our afternoon shopping trip).

after playing around for a while,
we started to HTHT and eventually drifted off to lalaland =))
